Who We Are

Adam is an Underwriter within the UK W&I team, joining Acquinex in 2026. Prior to joining, Adam gained two years of experience in the W&I market at Liberty. Adam has a degree in Economics from UCL.

Adam is a W&I underwriter within the CEE W&I team based in Warsaw. Having joined in October 2021, Adam is responsible for underwriting W&I insurance policies for M&A transactions across a wide variety of sectors in the CEE region.

Adam is an attorney-at-law qualified in Poland. Prior to joining Acquinex he has worked in various international law firms including Gide and CMS. Adam brings significant employment expertise to the Acquinex CEE team. With 6 years of experience as an advisor, Adam focused mainly on employment and social insurance issues throughout all stages of an M&A process in a broad range of industries.

Aikaterini is an Assistant Underwriter within the DACH team, focusing on transactions across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She joined Acquinex in October 2025 after three years at one of Europe’s leading insurance groups, where she gained extensive experience in accounting and financial operations. Aikaterini holds a degree in Risk and Insurance and has also completed an apprenticeship in the insurance industry.

Alex is a Senior Underwriter in the UK W&I team, having joined Acquinex in August 2023. Alex has experience underwriting W&I insurance policies including real estate, renewables and operational M&A transactions. Prior to Acquinex, Alex worked for two years in a W&I team at another insurance provider where he underwrote a broad range of deals in both the UK and Europe. Alex is a UK qualified corporate solicitor with a first-class Law degree from Cardiff University and a BA in English Literature from the University of British Columbia.

Allan Ramirez is a Senior Vice President at Acquinex, specializing in the underwriting of complex federal and state tax risks related to M&A transactions, tax credits, corporate restructurings, and other strategic transactions.
Prior to joining Acquinex, Allan advised private equity and corporate clients at EY on the U.S. federal income tax aspects of domestic and cross-border transactions across a range of industries. Earlier in his career, he practiced in Mexico, advising multinational companies on tax controversy, corporate restructurings, and international tax matters.
Allan is admitted to practice law in New York and Mexico. He holds an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center and a law degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

Andreas is a Junior Underwriter in the DACH W&I Team, having joined Acquinex in January 2025. In his role, he supports the underwriting of W&I insurance policies for DACH M&A transactions across various sectors. After completing his law degree, Andreas worked as a Research Assistant at two international law firms in the fields of Corporate/M&A and Venture Capital. Andreas is a fully qualified German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt), having studied law at the University of Munich (LMU) and completed his legal clerkship (Referendariat) in Munich and Frankfurt at Deutsche Bank AG.

Andy is an Underwriter at Acquinex’s Nordic office, specialising in W&I insurance for M&A transactions. Before joining Acquinex, he spent nearly five years in Roschier’s Real Estate M&A practice, advising a broad range of investors on complex Nordic and cross-border deals. Andy holds a law degree from Uppsala University.

Anna joined Acquinex in December 2023 as Office Assistant. In this capacity, she oversees and optimises diverse processes related to administrative support of the Nordic team ensuring structure end efficiency. Prior to her tenure at Acquinex, Anna held a position in The European-Ukrainian HUB, as Activity and Event Manager. Anna is from Ukraine and holds a degree in Theoretical Physics.

Antonio Jesús is responsible for Acquinex’s operations across Southern Europe and supports the development of the company’s presence in Latin America. He brings almost 10 years of experience across the insurance sector and private practice. Prior to joining Acquinex, Antonio held various roles at VALE Insurance Partners and Liberty GTS, including Senior Underwriter. Earlier in his career, he spent over three years as an M&A lawyer at Hogan Lovells and Pérez-Llorca.

Antonio joined Acquinex in January 2023 as a tax underwriter, where he focuses on providing W&I and tailored tax insurance solutions. Before joining Acquinex, he worked at Garrigues and PwC's Tax M&A practices for more than 5 years where he provided tax advice to private equity funds, industrial and private entities on cross-border and domestic M&A transactions . Antonio holds a LLM in Tax from the Instituto de Empresa Business School.

Ariel Berman is Head of FINPRO at Acquinex, having joined the business in October 2025 to build and lead its specialist financial lines proposition. He brings over 25 years of global insurance and risk‑management experience across underwriting, broking and advisory roles. Before joining Acquinex, Ariel was Head of Specialty UK & Europe at CNA Hardy, responsible for a USD 450m FINPRO and Healthcare portfolio and a team of 80 underwriters across the UK and Europe. Prior to that he led Marsh UK’s Financial Institutions Division as Managing Director, overseeing more than $700m of premium and driving sustained growth and integration following the JLT acquisition. Ariel spent over a decade with AIG in London and New York in senior financial‑lines leadership roles, shaping underwriting strategy for financial institutions across EMEA and globally, including work on emerging risks such as fintech and cryptocurrency. He holds an MBA in Finance from the New York Institute of Technology

Bartosz is a Underwriter, CEE W&I Team based in Warsaw. He is responsible for supporting Warsaw Team in their day-to-day operations and underwriting. Prior to joining Acquinex in April 2024, Bartosz gained experience in DLA Piper (Corporate department), working mainly on M&A transactions, and in reputable local law firm. He obtained legal education at University of Warsaw and University of Vienna. Bartosz is currently undergoing advocate training in Warsaw Bar Association and pursuing diploma in Finance and Accounting.

Bronte is an Assistant Underwriter in the Title Team, having joined Acquinex in early 2026. Prior to joining, Bronte has worked as a Paralegal at firms including BCLP and Gowling WLG, working in Real Estate Litigation and Commercial Real Estate. Bronte attended the University of Bristol to read History of Art, before commencing her post graduate studies in Law.

Carlota is an Underwriter at Acquinex, covering W&I in the Southern Europe region. Prior to joining Acquinex, she worked for several years as a corporate and M&A lawyer, advising clients on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions. Before moving into underwriting, Carlota held positions at leading international firms including Addleshaw Goddard, Dentons and EY.

Caroline joined Acquinex in January 2023 after spending three years as an associate at Swedish law firm Setterwalls in Stockholm. She mainly advised industrial and private equity clients on domestic M&A transactions as well as Swedish corporate law matters. Prior to joining Setterwalls, Caroline worked as a M&A underwriter at Zurich Insurance Company covering the Nordic W&I market. Caroline holds a law degree from Stockholm University.

Chelsey is a Senior analyst with extensive experience in risk assessment, financial analysis, and the evaluation of complex financial information. Her expertise supports informed decision-making and effective risk management across a range of business matters. In her current role, she supports the Representations and Warranties Insurance (RWI) and Tax teams, applying her analytical and financial expertise to evaluate risk and deliver insights that support clients and business objectives. She holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a Master of Business Administration.

Chiara is a Tax Underwriter within the Southern Europe team. She joined Acquinex in November 2023 focusing on various Italian tax issues within W&I policies and tax insurance products. During eight years of working as tax lawyer in Jones Day and Legance, Chiara gained experience in providing tax assistance to national and international groups particularly on M&A transactions and international tax planning. Chiara’s other areas of expertise include tax assistance on capital market and financial transactions. Chiara graduated from the Università di Bologna and obtained a Master’s Degree in Corporate Tax Law from Bocconi University in Milan.

Chloe is an underwriter in the UK W&I team. Prior to joining Acquinex, Chloe was part of the W&I team at Aviva where she worked on transactions across the UK, Europe and Rest of World. Before moving across to the W&I market Chloe trained and practiced as a Corporate Associate at RPC LLP. Chloe holds a degree in Law from the University of Leicester.

Chris has joined Acquinex to lead our RWI practice. Prior to this, Chris was Senior Vice President at QBE.

Chris specialises in multiple areas including Energy, Real Estate, and Secondaries.

Chris has spent over 10 years in the transactional risk industry prior to which he was an M&A attorney at top-tier US firms including Gibson Dunn & Crutcher.

Chris holds a BA from the University of Vermont and a JD from Rutgers Law School.

Chris Thompson was one of the original Co-Founders of Acquinex in 2017. Chris holds professional qualifications in accounting, insurance and banking , with 24 years of experience in the M&A and insurance industry. Chris is responsible for developing new specialist insurance products at Acquinex, including the underwriting, portfolio management and carrier relations for Acquinex’s Carbon Credit insurance offering

Christoph is Head of Tax DACH and responsible for the underwriting process of Tax Insurances and for the tax input into W&I policies in the DACH region. Before joining Acquinex, he worked in the Financial Services Tax department of PwC Germany for 14 years as a tax lawyer and has gained broad experience in terms of advising German and non-German clients on a wide-range of domestic and international tax issues with focus on inbound investments in the German market and domestic business reorganizations.

Domenico is a Senior Underwriter at Acquinex, specialising in Warranty & Indemnity insurance.
Having been active in the Italian transactional risk market since its early stages of development, Domenico has advised private equity sponsors, corporates, founders and their advisers across a broad range of sectors and deal sizes, supporting the structuring of tailored risk transfer solutions.
Prior to joining Acquinex, Domenico spent more than seven years as a specialist transactional risk broker. He began his career in private practice, spending over four and a half years as an Italian-qualified lawyer working on M&A, private equity and real estate transactions.

Marco is Managing Director, Head of DACH and Acquinex’s General Counsel. He is one of the most influential market experts on M&A, Private Equity and Transactional Risks (GC Powerlist) and has around 20 years of large and mid cap transaction experience. Prior to joining Acquinex Marco was an equity partner at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP. Marco received various recognitions for his practice including Best Lawyers, JUVE, Legal 500, Handelsblatt and Wirtschaftswoche. He is in charge of the laws of the supervisory board in “Gessler’s Legal Commentary to the German Stock Corporation Act”. Marco is a fully qualified German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) and holds Master degrees in business law from the University of Cambridge (LL.M.) and Goethe University Frankfurt am Main (LL.M. Eur.) where he also earned a Ph.D. (Dr) in law.

Ellie is a Head of Contingent Risks and joined Acquinex in 2024. Prior to this, Ellie was a dispute resolution solicitor at Fox Williams LLP, where she specialised in shareholder group actions, and at RPC LLP, where she was seconded to Lloyds Development Capital and Sompo Insurance. Ellie has a degree in Classics from Durham University.

Liz is a Compliance Manager at Acquinex and is responsible for supporting and deputising for the Head of Risk and Compliance at Acquinex, providing specialist risk and compliance expertise as part of a robust second line risk and compliance function across all Acquinex offices. Liz has over 10 years' experience in financial services, specialising in the Lloyd's and London insurance market. Prior to joining Acquinex, she held Compliance Manager roles at a Lloyd's Syndicate and various companies within the Ardonagh Group. Liz holds a first class Law with Business degree and a CII Certificate in London Market Insurance.

Emeline is a Paris and New York qualified lawyer and a W&I Senior Underwriter within the France and Benelux team. She joined Acquinex in January 2025 where she underwrites W&I policies across France and the Benelux region, with a particular focus on French and French-language transactions. Prior to joining Acquinex, Emeline spent nine years as an M&A lawyer in Paris, primarily with Fieldfisher and Dentons, where she advised private equity funds, industrial clients, and private entities on cross-border and domestic M&A transactions across various sectors. Emeline graduated with a Masters' degree (DJCE) from the Université of Cergy-Pontoise in 2012, followed by an LL.M. from Vermont Law School (USA) in 2013.

Enrico is an Assistant Underwriter within the Southern Europe team, focusing primarily on the Italian market. Before joining Acquinex, he worked in the M&A Insurance team at Tokio Marine HCC in Barcelona. Enrico holds a Master’s degree in Finance from ESADE Business & Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from ESCP Business School, having studied in Paris, Turin and Berlin.

François leads Acquinex’s operations across France and the Benelux and is widely recognised as a leading figure in notably French transactional risk insurance. Prior to joining Acquinex, François served as Director at Transact Risk Partners, where he notably established and successfully built out the firm’s French practice. François began his career in private practice at leading US and Magic Circle law firms, including Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom (Paris) and Herbert Smith Freehills (Paris). During this time, he advised on a range of complex cross-border M&A transactions, as well as corporate governance and regulatory matters.François holds a Master of Science in Management from ESSEC Business School, with specialisations in Corporate Finance and General Finance, and completed the Global Manager in Asia programme in Singapore. He also holds both a Magister degree and a Master’s degree in Business Law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University.

Gabriela joined the business in May 2020 and provides significant real estate experience. Gabriela has 6 years of insurance underwriting experience and 7 years of corporate real estate legal experience, working at Baker & McKenzie, Clifford Chance and most recently Greenberg Traurig in Warsaw. Prior to joining Acquinex, Gabriela routinely advised title insurance underwriters on technical real estate matters across parts of the EEA.

Gloria is the Head of Risk and Compliance at Acquinex and is responsible for providing specialist risk and compliance expertise and developing, embedding and leading a robust second line risk and compliance function across all Acquinex offices.

Prior to joining Acquinex in November 2019, Gloria held senior compliance roles in global companies including Bupa, Willis Towers Watson and JLT/MMC. Gloria has over 15 years UK and international compliance experience, primarily gained in the insurance industry. Gloria originally started her career by qualifying as a barrister.

Gustav is, together with Mikael Karlsson, responsible for the Nordic operations of Acquinex. He has 4 years’ experience from Mannheimer Swartling in Malmö before joining Acquinex where he provided advise on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, Swedish corporate law matters as well as commercial litigation and arbitration cases. Gustav holds a law degree from Uppsala University.

Gustav is an Underwriter at the Nordic office and is responsible for W&I insurances on M&A Transactions. Gustav joined Acquinex in March 2022 as an M&A Analyst, where he was responsible for analyzing risks in M&A Transactions and supporting the Nordic Team in the day-to-day Underwriting. Gustav has a Masters in Business Administration and Commercial Law from Copenhagen Business School.

Henry is the Head of Global Head W&I, having joined Acquinex in June 2025. Prior to joining Acquinex, Henry led the UK, CEE and MEA for Liberty GTS and has more than 10 years of W&I underwriting experience. He has gained broad experience throughout his career, specialising in complex and multi-jurisdictional work. He has a degree in Law from the University of Bristol.

Hugh is a Underwriter, UK W&I within the London team, having joined Acquinex in March 2022. Hugh is responsible for working with and supporting the UK W&I team in their underwriting, procedures, and policy issuance for M&A transactions across Europe. Prior to joining Acquinex Hugh gained six months of experience at a West End accountancy firm, working primarily in audit and accounts preparation. Hugh has a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Bristol.

Iqra is an Executive Assistant as part of Acquinex’s team in Europe. Prior to joining Acquinex, Iqra supported the Group CEO and Supervisory Board at Glen Dimplex Group, where she worked across executive support, board governance, stakeholder management and strategic projects within the organisation. Iqra holds a Master of Laws as well as a Bachelor of Laws from Dublin City University.

Isabel is a Head of Quality Assurance & Training, having joined Acquinex in July 2023. She brings a vast experience having worked in real estate and hospitality over 7 years as an Assistant Manager. Before joining Acquinex, she worked for 2 years as an Underwriting Assistant at TMHCC supporting the TRI team. Isabel has a degree in Tourism from University of Vigo and holds a master’s degree in business administration from EUDE.

James is an Analyst within the W&I team, working on transactions across Europe, and joined Acquinex in 2025. Prior to joining, he gained hands-on M&A experience as an Investment Analyst at Europe’s largest non-performing loan investor, where he focused on the assessment and forecasting of investment opportunities. James holds a First-Class degree in Finance and Investment with an additional year in Data Analytics.

Jamie is the Head of UK W&I team, having joined Acquinex in April 2026. Prior to this he spent six years at Liberty GTS in the London and Emerging Markets team, most recently as a Senior Underwriter, working on transactions across EMEA. Before that, Jamie spent three years at Marsh as a W&I broker. Jamie holds a law degree from the University of Nottingham.

Jamie is a Senior Underwriter in the UK W&I London team having joined Acquinex in April 2026. She underwrites W&I insurance policies for UK M&A transactions across a range of sectors, including real estate and energy. Jamie is a UK qualified solicitor with a first-class History degree from King’s College London. Prior to Acquinex, she worked as a corporate solicitor at Eversheds Sutherland LLP where she advised PE funds, developers and utilities on domestic and cross border M&A. She specialised in renewable energy M&A and supporting clients on the full project life cycle of their renewable assets.

Jeff is US Head of Claims and joined Acquinex in 2026. Jeff has over eight years of insurance claims experience, most recently as the Head of Private Equity and Transactional Liability Claims at Everest Insurance, overseeing a team handling representations and warranties, contingent liability, and tax claims. He began his law career in the antitrust practice at Marval O'Farrell & Mairal in Buenos Aires, Argentina and later worked at the Department of Justice, US Attorney's Office in the financial fraud prosecution unit. Jeff has a law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Prior to his careers in law and insurance, Jeff spent seven years in accounting and finance.

Johannes is a Senior Underwriter in the DACH W&I Team, having joined Acquinex in October 2025. In this position, he is responsible for underwriting W&I insurance policies for DACH M&A transactions across a range of sectors. Prior to joining Acquinex, Johannes worked as a General Counsel for a Munich-based private equity fund and as a Legal Counsel M&A for Munich RE. He started his career as an Associate in the corporate/M&A department at Gleiss Lutz. He is a qualified German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) and holds a Doctor of Laws (Dr. iur.) degree from Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich, Germany.

Johannes is a Senior Underwriter in the DACH W&I Team, having joined Acquinex in July 2024. In his role, he underwrites W&I insurance policies for DACH M&A transactions across various sectors. Before joining Acquinex, Johannes worked in the M&A and Private Equity department at Milbank LLP, where he advised on over 40 cross-border and domestic M&A transactions. He is recognized by Handelsblatt Best Lawyers as “Ones to Watch” for Corporate Law in Germany for 2024. Johannes is a qualified German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt), having studied law at the University of Würzburg and completed his clerkship (Referendariat) in Munich and New York.

Josh is responsible for the corporate development, financial, operational and day-to-day running of Acquinex. Josh has over 15 years of M&A and insurance experience having held leadership and executive positions at global marquee brand insurers and MGAs, most recently prior to joining Acquinex as Senior Vice President, International Transactional Risk at Chubb. Josh is a qualified solicitor having trained and practiced at top-tier London city firm Macfarlanes before joining the insurance industry.

Juan leads the tax insurance offering at Acquinex for the Southern European region. In his role, he is responsible for underwriting stand-alone tax policies and supporting his W&I colleagues with tax input where needed.

Before joining Acquinex, Juan held various roles at AIG, initially as a Senior Tax Underwriter and later as Head of M&A Tax for Iberia and the Mediterranean. In that capacity, he built AIG’s tax insurance practice in the region from the ground up. He was also one of the first locally based underwriters to enter the M&A insurance market in Spain.

Prior to his time at AIG, Juan worked at the international law firm Ashurst, advising domestic and international clients on a wide range of tax matters. His work also included advising other M&A insurance carriers on tax risk underwriting. He began his career at EY, where he developed a strong foundation in tax advisory within a Big Four environment, gaining exposure to complex transactions and a wide range of industries.

Kamil is a Senior Underwriter in the CEE W&I team at Acquinex and a Polish-qualified advocate, with over 12 years’ professional experience. Before joining Acquinex, he spent almost five years as a transactional risk insurance broker at Marsh. He previously worked as a transactional lawyer in the Warsaw offices of Noerr and Weil, Gotshal & Manges, and as an in-house legal adviser at Aon. Throughout his career, Kamil has gained extensive experience across a wide range of M&A transactions in multiple jurisdictions and sectors, together with deep expertise in the M&A insurance market.

Kelly holds an LLB in Law from the University of York. Following his undergraduate studies, he began his career as a paralegal in the UK, specialising in legal processes and technology at an international law firm. Prior to joining Acquinex, Kelly gained three years of experience in the W&I market in Germany as an Junior Underwrite analyst.

Laurence joined Acquinex and Litica in May 2026 as an Operations Manager, bringing over 20 years of experience in financial services operations, including supporting global operating environments. He specialises in governance frameworks, process optimisation, and the delivery of operational change.
Prior to joining the business, Laurence held roles at Pen Underwriting (Gallagher) and HSBC, where he developed a strong track record of enhancing operational efficiency and supporting business transformation initiatives.
Outside of work, Laurence enjoys spending time with his two daughters, BBQing, and is a keen (but limited) golfer.

Liam is an Senior Underwriter, UK W&I team, having joined Acquinex in October 2021. Liam underwrites W&I Insurance policies for UK M&A transactions across a range of sectors. Prior to joining Acquinex, Liam worked in the London W&I team at ANV, where he worked on transactions throughout Europe. Liam has a degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Sheffield.

Luca is an underwriter at Acquinex, focusing on M&A and transactional risk insurance, with particular expertise in Warranty & Indemnity. He supports cross-border transactions by combining legal, tax, and commercial analysis, with a strong focus on deal structuring, SPA review, and risk assessment. Prior to joining Acquinex, Luca worked as a Junior M&A Underwriter at AIG, underwriting complex M&A transactions across the Italian, Spanish and French markets, and previously at PwC in Milan, advising multinational companies on tax risk management and cooperative tax compliance programs. He holds both an LLM in International and European Tax Law and an LLB in European Law from Maastricht University, building a strong foundation in corporate taxation, European law, and international transactions.

Marcin is an Underwriter based in Warsaw, and brings significant tax experience to the Acquinex CEE team ensuring a tailored tax approach to W&I policies.

Marcin is an advocate qualified in Poland with 12 years of experience as an adviser with CMS, Taylor Wessing and a recognised tax boutique in Poland. As an advisor Marcin focussed on designing and executing group reorganisation strategies and ensuring both safety and efficiency of M&A transactions.

Mateusz is a Underwriting Director, CEE W&I Team and an advocate qualified in Poland. Prior to joining Acquinex he spent over five years at Noerr and six years in two domestic M&A law firms. He gained broad transactional experience advising industrial, private equity and venture capital clients on domestic and cross-border M&A deals, real estate transactions, as well as corporate matters.

Matt heads up Acquinex’s title offering across our offices and has extensive real estate and insurance experience. Matt’s career has focussed on creating innovative solutions for a broad range of Title defects impacting commercial transactions, developing expertise applying Title solutions to M&A, real estate development and renewables transactions. He has written, and built, business across the UK and the EEA. More recently, Matt was a senior member of the Title team at the UK’s largest insurer, being responsible for launching and growing the European Underwriting book as well as the creation of a joined-up W&I and Title work stream.

Mattheus is a Senior Underwriter focused on the Benelux region, having joined Acquinex in July 2024. Prior to joining Acquinex, Mattheus began his career in the legal team of AkzoNobel. He qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales during his time in private practice (De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek), where he specialised in both competition law and M&A, advising a range of private and publicly listed clients on complex transactions and regulatory matters. Mattheus studied at the University of Groningen (LLB) and the Utrecht University (LLM).

Michał is an advocate, qualified in Poland and prior to joining Acquinex, gained experience at various international law firms including CMS and Gide, providing legal advice to private equity funds, commercial entities and private investors concerning real estate and M&A transactions at its every stage (both on the Polish market, as well as in cross-border deals).

Michelle is a Tax Underwriter and part of Acquinex's tax team in Europe. Prior to joining Acquinex, Michelle trained and worked as a solicitor in the tax team at Slaughter and May, where she advised on a broad range of tax issues, including transactional M&A, tax litigation and advisory and consultancy work focusing on UK and cross-border tax issues. Michelle is a qualified solicitor, and holds a degree in Business and Law from University College Dublin.

Michelle is Head of Claims and joined Acquinex in 2025. Michelle has a law degree from UCL and is a solicitor specialising in litigation in the insurance and financial services sectors. From her time at Clifford Chance and Eversheds Sutherland she has over 10 years’ experience in managing a broad range of matters, with a particular specialism in W&I and tax claims. Michelle has drafted policy wordings and has extensive experience in acting for both policyholders and insurers assessing complex coverage issues spanning a number of jurisdictions concerning a variety of asserted breaches of warranty. Michelle prides herself on being a problem solver and is recognised for her pragmatic and commercial approach.

Mikael is, together with Gustav Sannegård, responsible for the Nordic operations of Acquinex. Prior to joining Acquinex, he has gained more than five years’ experience from Roschier’s M&A practice where he advised both private equity sponsors and corporate investors in various Nordic and cross-border transactions. Mikael holds a law degree from Örebro University and was admitted to the Swedish bar association in January 2023.

Natalia Wisniewska joined the business in March 2026 from CMS where she worked as a real estate Associate at CMS in Warsaw and previously Hogan Lovells. Natalia brings 6 years of legal experience to the Title team.

Newton is a Compliance Manager in the Risk and Compliance Department at Acquinex. He is responsible for supporting and deputising for the Head of Risk and Compliance at Acquinex, providing specialist risk and compliance expertise as part of a robust second line risk and compliance function across all Acquinex offices. Newton has over 30 years’ experience in the Insurance/Reinsurance Industry. He has a Master’s in Law from the University of Cambridge, is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Insurers, a Freeman of the City of London, a Minister of the Word at Westminster Cathedral and a Vice-President of Belsize Park RFC.

Pablo is a lawyer and Senior Claims Handler at Acquinex. Prior to joining Acquinex, he worked at the international law firms Hogan Lovells and CMS. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in both corporate and litigation matters, with a particular focus on W&I claims and underwriting in recent years. He also has broad experience in handling claims across other lines of business (financial lines, contingency, PI) and is an expert in insurance regulatory matters. Pablo has been ranked as a recommended lawyer in the insurance field by several leading legal directories. Before starting his legal career, he studied Law and Business Administration at the University of Deusto in Bilbao (Spain). He is registered as a lawyer with the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM).

Pablo is underwriter in Acquinex’s covering Southern Europe region and the development of the company’s presence in Latin America. He has been a corporate lawyer for almost 9 years with a special focus in the energy and infrastructure industry. Prior to joining Acquinex, Antonio held various senior roles at top tier international law firms such as Dentons, Pinsent Masons and Bird & Bird.

Pierce is a seasoned representations and warranties underwriter and Senior Vice President at Acquinex. Prior to his current role, he was at Ambridge Parters and Great American. Pierce prides himself on building entrenched relationships with various industry partners, including the brokers, law firms and buyers that are vital members of the community. He enjoys working on a wide range of risks with valued industry partners, including oil & gas, healthcare, multinational, and minority transactions.

Prior to joining the industry, Pierce studied at the State University of New York at Geneseo, including a semester abroad at Rhodes University in South Africa.

Piotr is a Junior Underwriter within the CEE W&I Team at Acquinex and is currently undergoing advocate training with the Warsaw Bar Association. Prior to joining Acquinex, he spent four years at Dentons in the Real Estate department and two years at a domestic law firm active in the real estate and intellectual property sectors. Piotr has gained solid transactional and asset management experience advising on domestic and cross-border real estate transactions.

Rocky joined Acquinex from Mosaic where we was a leading Tax underwriter in for the US market.

Before then, Rocky spent six years as a tax attorney at KPMG (NYC) where his practice focused on cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and efficient tax structures for private equity funds.

Rocky holds a JD from Rutgers Law School and a Master of Laws from New York University.

Before joining Acquinex, Romyna gained two years of experience in operations for international companies, focusing on key accounts. She holds a double degree in International Relations and administration from UNAM, as well as a double master’s degree in European Studies and Society from Leiden University and Pompeu Fabra University.

Thomas leads the UK day-to-day management within the Title team working on deals across the UK and Jersey. He joined Acquinex in 2024. Prior to joining, Thomas gained six years of experience in the Title market and most recently at the largest insurer in the UK. Thomas has a degree in Politics from the University of Birmingham.

Tom is a Tax Underwriter and is part of Acquinex’s tax team in Europe. Prior to joining Acquinex, Tom trained and worked as a solicitor at Macfarlanes LLP, where he advised on a broad range of tax issues from transactional M&A to domestic and cross border advisory tax issues, with a predominant focus on employee incentives. Tom is a qualified solicitor and studied Classics at the University of Cambridge.

Umut is a Senior Tax Underwriter and part of Acquinex’s tax team in Europe. Prior to joining Acquinex, Umut was a Senior Associate at Ashurst LLP, where he advised on a broad range of tax issues from transactional M&A to domestic and cross-border advisory taxes. In addition, Umut has significant experience in tax controversy and litigation and has litigated at all levels of the English court and tribunal system and guided clients through complex HMRC audits and enquiries (with a particular focus on international taxes and transfer pricing). Prior to his career in law, Umut studied at the London School of Economics.

Valentine Deltombe is a Junior Underwriter at Acquinex specialising in W&I insurance in the French and Benelux markets having joined Acquinex after two years servicing the French, Benelux and Italian transactional risk markets at a specialist local MGA. Valentine holds an LL.M. in International Trade and Investment Law from the University of Amsterdam (2021) and is fluent in both French and English.

Victoria is an Assistant Underwriter within the Benelux team. Prior to joining Acquinex in July 2025, Victoria gained experience in the Dutch W&I Market. Victoria holds law degrees from Tilburg University (LLB) and the University of Amsterdam (LLM).

Will is Head of Global Tax for Acquinex and has been instrumental in growing the tax business into a market leading tax insurer. Will has experience in underwriting domestic and cross border tax risks across Europe and is now part of the team leading Acquinex’s expansion into the US. Prior to joining Acquinex, Will worked as a solicitor in the Corporate Tax department at Taylor Wessing LLP where he advised on a broad range of tax issues from transactional M&A to domestic and cross border advisory tax issues including the private client sector, albeit with a predominant focus on private equity. Will trained at Simmons & Simmons, is a Chartered Tax Advisor and qualified Solicitor, having graduated top of his year in History at Nottingham University and also in his MBA class in London.

Winfield Aukamp joined Acquinex as SVP of RWI in June 2026. Win has over 13 years of insurance industry experience, first in various strategy and finance roles at AIG and QBE followed most recently by 6 years of TL-focused underwriting at QBE and now Acquinex. Win has expertise across a broad range of industries and is considered a valuable resource by brokers looking for someone to underwrite coverage for complex risks.
